Surrey Chapel organised celebrations during eight days in April 2011…

There were:

·                    Live readings of the King James Bible in (almost) its entirety, at the Norfolk and Norwich Millenium Library.

·                    KJB 400: Why the fuss? The exhibition at St Peter Mancroft Church

This exhibition explored the story of the King James Bible and its impact, together with that of later translations, on individuals and society as illustrated by selected themes.

·                    KJB 400: Why the fuss? The talks at St Andrew’s Church

These lunchtime talks further explored the impact of the Bible on individuals and society.

Selected readings have been recorded on video.

We also offer a short pictorial record recollecting these events
