What's on at Surrey Chapel?

Within Surrey Chapel there is a wide variety of groups and activities all contributing in one way or another to the Church's mission.

[Smarties]
Surrey Smarties:

Fridays during termtime: 10am.
Surrey Smarties is our parent and toddlers group, meeting on Friday mornings during school terms. Click on the link for more information.

[Fellowship]
Fellowship Groups:

About twice a month.
These groups meet in homes around the city and county for Bible Study, prayer and fellowship.

[Football]
Surrey Chapel Football Club (NCL):

Surrey Chapel Football Club has several boys and girls teams in the local Christian Leagues, from under 9s up to Adults.

[Prayer]
Prayer:

Tuesdays: 7:45 to 9pm (except when Church Night occurs).
Prayer is a vitally important part of our church life. All are encouraged to share in the praise and prayer for the life and and work of the church, for folk in particular need, for missionary matters and wider concerns.

[Active8]
Active8:

Monthly meetings at various times.
Active8 is a women's group which meets for fun and fellowship - usually a light-hearted event is the excuse to get together!

[Church_Night]
Church Night:

First Tuesday of the month: 7:30 to 9pm.
This is for all the church, for focussed prayer, pastoral teaching and consideration of matters facing the church. Refreshments are served at the end of the meeting.

[Midweek]
Midweek Fellowship:

Wednesday: 1:30 for 2pm.
This is designed for those who find it more convenient to attend a group for fellowship during the day. The group meets in term time on Wednesday afternoons, with a varied programme. Please click on the link for our current programme.

[Beginners]
Sunday Children's and Young People's Groups

Each Sunday morning we have groups for children and young people.  The youngsters usually join with the adults for the first part of the morning service and then, after about 20 minutes, go to their groups. Click on the links for more details

[Strollers]
Surrey Sketchers:

A Tuesday group and a Friday group, both at 9.30 am.
The Surrey Sketchers meet to enjoy drawing and painting. Some of their work is displayed in the church Foyer.

[Seniors]
Surrey Seniors:

3rd Friday of the month: 2:30pm.
This is a lively and popular group providing opportunities for those who might consider themselves to be 'seniors' to enjoy each others' company and a varied programme of talks and other activities. Please click on the link for more information.

 
MoMentum

Approximately once a month.
MoMentum is a men's group meeting for fun, talks and activities.

[AIM]
Alive In Me (AIM):

[HCIT]
How Cool Is That!

Once a month, usually on the third Saturday afternoon of the month.
How Cool Is That! is a once-monthly meeting for those aged 7 to 12. Come prepared for an action-packed afternoon with singing, Bible stories, crafts, games and other activities. Click on the link to find out more and for the dates of upcoming events.

[HCITHolClub]
How Cool Is That! Holiday Club:

One week annually (usually August).
Holiday Club is an extension of the monthlyHCIT activities. We meet each morning for a whole week to have fun learning about God. Three groups run for kids aged 4-6, 7-9 and 10-12. Recent themes have included Joseph and Egypt, Pirates of the Caribbean and Mountain Climbing.
